I do not use testimonials for a number of reasons:

  1. They are considered unethical by many therapy related bodies.
  2. They can be fabricated and misleading. A personal website is not independent and therefore only positive testimonials will likely be shown. This can be considered opportunistic.
  3. It conflicts with client confidentiality.
  4. Therapeutic interventions are unique to each client and results are very different even for people experiencing the same issues. Therefore, testimonials are meaningless and only a discussion face to face or over the phone can help you decide whether we are a good fit.

Finding the right therapist is essential for the success of therapy. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you want to ask questions that may help you decide whether I am the right therapist for you.
