Insomnia

There is nothing more troubling that lying in bed trying your hardest to fall asleep and end up feeling even more awake. You may find difficult to fall or stay asleep during the night. The next day you may feel tired, stressed and finding difficult to concentrate.

With the busy lifestyle of modern society, it can become even more of an issue. Juggling work, home, kids, being active and the million items in our to do list require a body that is rested and well functioning.

Insomnia can result in more than just feeling tired, it can cause weight gain, irritability, depression and poor work or academic performance.

I will work with you to help you understand and address the reasons for your sleep problems, them being bad habits, anxiety, stress or physical pain. This may include relaxation, learning new techniques that you can use on your own and changing behaviours that may be causing your sleeping problems.
